Building Materials Division Concept(0)
The building materials division is responsible for the import and sale of wooden building materials, timber, and paints, as well as the sale, development, and proposal of exterior-related products. The world is vast, and there are many excellent types of "wood" that are not available in Japan. It is not just about judging based on high or low prices, nor is it simply about being of good quality. We are committed to solid wood, focusing on specific tree species, and delivering high-quality building materials with a story, including their cultural background, to Japan.

Redwood(3)
Redwood is a common name for a species of conifer in the Sequoia genus, scientifically known as "Sequoiadendron giganteum," found in its native habitat of California. (It is a different species from Metasequoia and Giant Sequoia.) The name Sequoia is derived from a great sage of the local indigenous people, the Indians, and is rooted in the history of being regarded as the "tree of God" due to its towering and mysterious appearance. The characteristics of redwoods, which can alter the climate of their environment by growing in clusters, are said to be a unique aspect of the ecosystem. They are even resistant to forest fires and have evolved to possess a strong resistance to "their own decay," which is likely the only threat to their life. In natural forests, they can exceed 100 meters in height, but for industrial purposes, sustainable and stable supply has been achieved through artificial forests, leveraging growth rates several times that of Japanese cedar and cypress. Managed on a cycle of about 60 years, redwoods have a productivity that reaches three times that of domestic timber, and their aforementioned decay resistance exhibits unparalleled performance as lumber.

Champagne Oak(1)
In the interior of Champagne, France, in a deep, dark corner of the forest, a small workshop for barrels has been operating as a long-standing local industry. From this traditional barrel factory comes a completely new building material designed for Japanese architecture: Champagne Oak. With a grain reminiscent of Yakusugi, the beauty of its deep orange-hued wet color, and its reaction to finishes that sometimes shift to a brownish color accompanied by blackened gold, it possesses textures and characteristics that are distinctly different from commonly known oak. An elegance reminiscent of antiques will provide a beautiful depth to the space.

Bordeaux Pine(5)
Bordeaux pine, grown in forests under permanent management in the Bordeaux region famous for its wine. This is our product name, and the official name is "French Maritime Pine (Pin Maritime)." This maritime pine, with a growth age of 60 years, possesses a robust texture and contrast unique to fully matured maritime pines, along with an exceptionally high hardness for a conifer. While deepening its strength and richness accompanied by a sense of luxury in its texture and expression, it maintains the warmth and comfortable walking experience characteristic of pine. Not only does it deviate from the common impression of pine as "cheap-looking and brittle," but it also contains a high amount of oil, showcasing a unique aging process that increases its weight and depth. It is a quality material with a solid texture that continues to grow in charm without ever becoming boring. As a bridge connecting this unique material with Japan, we offer various flooring and paneling materials, valuing both practicality and playfulness.
