The second Sora Bear Sonaeru Project donation garden has been announced!
G&ECO has been promoting the initiative "1.5 for the future" since 2022, donating a portion of the sales from its product "ELSONA" to nonprofit organizations that support the introduction of renewable energy. As part of this effort, we continue to be a corporate supporter of the NPO Sora Bear Foundation. Following last year, we are also sponsoring the "Sora Bear Sonael Project" this year, and we are pleased to announce that the donation gardens have been decided and announced in the second public recruitment held from July 1 to September 5, 2025. The "Sora Bear Sonael Project" supports the use of renewable energy and enhances disaster preparedness by donating "portable power sources" and "solar panels" to kindergartens attended by preschool children. Additionally, we hold an environmental and disaster education program called the "Sora Bear Workshop," providing children with opportunities to learn about the environment and disasters in a fun way. Improvement of inspection process accuracy through the introduction of AI image inspection solutions in medical device logistics DX.
Yasuda Warehouse has introduced an AI (artificial intelligence) image inspection solution at the Tokyo Medical Logistics Center II (Koto Ward, Tokyo), which handles medical devices. In the logistics operations of medical devices, pre-shipment inspection is the core of quality assurance. In a setting where accurate and rapid inspection work is required, the traditional method relying on visual inspection showed variations in precision among workers. There was also pressure to address the increasing physical burden on workers and the dependency of operations on specific personnel. The newly introduced AI image inspection solution handles everything from reading product numbers to verification in one go, instantly determining the match of product numbers, combinations, and quantities of each product. This improves the accuracy of inspection work, reduces the burden on workers, and eliminates the reliance on specific individuals for operations. The overall digitalization of the site is progressing, accelerating digital transformation (DX).
