Rack scaffolding construction results: Aso no Ura Ohashi Bridge

Transportation of seismic reinforcement materials, reduction of temporary scaffolding materials, and shortening of the construction period for scaffolding installation and dismantling!

We would like to introduce the construction achievements related to the seismic reinforcement work on the Asou no Ura Ohashi Bridge (Nielsen Rose Bridge) spanning the Iura Bay on the Mie Prefectural Road 128 Toba Ago Line (Pearl Road Seaside Line). Due to the presence of localized seismic reinforcement areas across the entire main span, we adopted a "rack scaffold" that allows for the movement of a certain range of scaffolding to cover the entire area. By utilizing its characteristics, we assisted in the transportation of seismic reinforcement materials, the reduction of materials for temporary scaffolding, and the shortening of the construction period for scaffold installation and dismantling. [Overview] ■ Location/Prefecture: Mie Prefecture ■ Client: Mie Prefecture ■ Construction Company: Yokogawa Construction Co., Ltd. ■ Start Date of Use: August 2013 ■ Experience of local workers in rack scaffold construction: First time ■ Presence of rack scaffold handling instructors: Yes *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
