Rack scaffolding construction achievements: Sanpo Irro Bridge

Thank you for using it for the cutting and bolt removal at the base of the wall railing and the cantilevered steel deck!

We would like to introduce our construction achievements related to the removal work of the Sanpo Entrance (Bay P121 to Sanpo Entrance P2) bridge. The bridge is a three-span continuous steel deck box girder bridge. To avoid impacting the work, we adopted a method where the running rails of the "rack scaffolding" were installed on the protruding part of the lower flange of the box girder, utilizing the cutting and bolt removal of the wall parapet and the root of the steel deck overhang. After the work was completed, we were able to quickly relocate the scaffolding, allowing for prompt temporary support of the main girder using a bent. 【Overview】 ■ Location/Prefecture: Osaka Prefecture ■ Client: Hanshin Expressway Company Limited ■ Construction Company: Yokogawa, Yokogawa Sumitomo, Takigami Construction Joint Venture ■ Start Date of Use: June 2011 ■ Local Workers' Experience with Rack Scaffolding: First time ■ Dispatch of Rack Scaffolding Handling Instructors: Yes *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
