The Akariina light-filtering blinds feature special resin slats designed to block harsh light and transform it into a bright, gentle glow that diffuses throughout the room. Even when the slats are closed, they allow for brightness, helping to maintain privacy and reduce the need for artificial lighting. This product evolves the traditional Japanese shoji screen functionality. The Milky 50 has a visible light transmittance of 41.8%. It is recommended for north-facing windows or those not exposed to direct sunlight. It blocks 100% of harmful UV-A and UV-B rays that can cause sunburn and skin cancer, protecting your skin from tanning and preventing discoloration of your interior. Note: The Akariina light-filtering blinds are available in versions for businesses and individuals, with differences in specifications, warranty, and services. The business version is called AKARINA contract. Testing results from the Fukui Testing Center of the Japan Textile Products Quality Technology Center in July 2022.
