■Development Concept■ 【With the increase in building height and improvement in seismic resistance, the width of beams is increasing】 - Increased amount of rebar in beams (main bars and stirrups) - Spread of high-strength concrete (high viscosity) - Long-period and wind sway countermeasures - Increased load on beams due to the slimming of columns (design requirements) - Improved workability (especially the risk of poor filling with high-strength concrete) Due to the above factors, recent high-rise buildings show a strong tendency for an increase in "beam width," particularly for underground beams, where widths close to 2,000 mm are not uncommon. Therefore, in the underground exterior wall section (underground beams), the piping that penetrates through the sleeve, "FEP pipe outer circumference," is located in extremely narrow spaces that are difficult for workers to access, making work extremely challenging. Furthermore, with the increase in beam width, currently, waterproofing work can only be performed right in front of the workers, both outdoors and indoors. Due to the recent shortage of construction workers and skilled labor, there are materials and methods that allow for "easy construction," but some overlook waterproofing performance, leading to an increasing trend in leakage issues with underground beams in recent years. To prevent leakage accidents that could lead to large-scale repair work later on, we advocate for the adoption of Pipe-in-Sleeve (abbreviated as PIS), which combines both "labor-saving at construction sites" and "the soundness of waterproofing performance in buildings."

A new innovative product for the underground beam sleeve construction is about to be released! Introducing the upgraded version of the "Pipe-in-Sleeve" that you have come to love! "Pipe-in-Sleeve T-type," abbreviated as PIS-T. The T-type features a "water drainage PVC flange" welded with the same material (PVC) to the outer layer of the conventional PIS PVC sleeve. This method serves as an alternative to the ring-shaped or band-shaped water-stopping material on the outer circumference of the PVC sleeve, responding to the strong requests from construction companies. Achieving both work efficiency and construction quality! Stay tuned for the official launch!
