We showcased the new "GeNico" model, allowing many attendees to experience the strengths of LP gas and its effectiveness for BCP while viewing the actual equipment. This exhibition is one of the largest crisis management business trade shows in Japan, focusing on three main themes: "Disaster Prevention and Mitigation," "BCP and Business Risk Measures," and "Security." At our booth, we proposed solutions to challenges related to disaster prevention and BCP measures, centered around the theme, "Protecting the 'lives' of this city - Connecting 72 hours with LP gas generators, the 'last bastion' of energy at your site." We showcased the stationary LP gas generator "GENERAC" and the new model "GeNico," allowing many attendees to see the actual equipment and experience the strengths of LP gas and its effectiveness for BCP. This exhibition is Japan's largest specialized exhibition for decarbonization management, showcasing all kinds of decarbonization solutions, including zero-carbon consulting, renewable energy power, self-consumption solar power, energy management systems, and energy-saving equipment. Fujigas will present under the theme, "Are you hedging risks with electrification? - Sustainable disaster prevention with carbon-neutral LP gas," highlighting the importance of resilience (especially in power outage measures) in a decarbonized society and showcasing solutions to related challenges. Fujigas has started selling "Fujigas Carbon Neutral LP Gas" (hereinafter referred to as "FCN-LPG"), which fully offsets the greenhouse gases generated during the combustion of LP gas through carbon credits. LP gas is used in about 40% of households across Japan, with nearly 100% coverage of the country's land area, playing an extremely important role as an energy source for residential use. However, it inevitably emits greenhouse gases during combustion. In response, Fujigas has introduced a method of carbon offsetting by converting the greenhouse gases absorbed through the management and conservation activities of Japan's valuable forest resources into carbon credits and granting those credits. Until the development of green LP gas progresses, we plan to promote the sale of LP gas utilizing carbon credits derived from domestic forests and other sources, starting with this initiative. In the future, we will also work on credit development through our own afforestation activities, actively contributing to the realization of a sustainable society. Outdoor heating devices such as patio heaters and LP gas exteriors can be used independently without the need for installation, which is a significant advantage. Additionally, LP gas generators are resilient in emergencies, utilizing the characteristics of LP gas, which allows for long-term storage without deterioration for up to 72 hours of fuel supply.
