A case where the LP gas used for outdoor heaters in dining establishments was switched to Fuji Gas Carbon Neutral LP Gas, resulting in a net CO2 emission of approximately zero.
We would like to introduce a case where "Carbon Neutral LP Gas (FCN-LPG)" was implemented at the restaurants managed by Zeton Co., Ltd., which operates dining establishments nationwide. Zeton has been using our patio heaters (outdoor heating devices) at the terrace seats of their restaurants for some time. In pursuit of decarbonization and sustainable growth, they decided to switch the LP gas for the patio heaters to FCN-LPG. **About Carbon Dioxide Equivalent** A unit that converts the amount of emissions, absorption, and storage of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the weight of carbon dioxide that has a corresponding greenhouse effect. It is expressed as t-CO2 or kg-CO2. The calculation uses the emission factor established by the Ministry of the Environment's "System for Calculation, Reporting, and Disclosure of Greenhouse Gas Emissions," which states that "for 1.0t (1,000kg) of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), the emission factor is 3.0t-CO2/t (3,000kg-CO2/t)." ghg-santeikohyo.env.go.jp/calc **About Fujigas Carbon Neutral LP Gas (FCN-LPG)** This is Fujigas's original carbon neutral LP gas that can offset the greenhouse gases generated from the consumption (combustion) of LP gas using carbon credits, effectively reducing CO2 emissions to zero. **About J-Credit** This refers to the amount of CO2 emissions reduction achieved through the introduction of energy-saving equipment and the use of renewable energy, as well as the amount of CO2 absorption through appropriate forest management, which is certified by the government as "credits." These reliable domestic credits can be used for carbon offsetting.

[Example of Implementation] ■ A commercial building operating company in Tokyo Switched the fuel for outdoor heating, specifically the parasol heaters used at some restaurant tenants' terrace seats within the operating building, to FCN-LPG. The LP gas fees incurred by the tenants will be borne by the respective tenants, while only the costs for the offset credits will be covered by the operating company.
