Health management solution "GenVital LTE" to be launched in May 2025.
We are pleased to announce that starting May 1, 2025, we will begin offering the health management solution "GenVital LTE." GRIFFY has been providing the health management solution "GenVital" for field workers since 2024, which collects workers' heart rate data via a wristband and transmits it to the cloud through a master and slave device. This time, we will change the wristband to the LTE-compatible "mSafety" device provided by Sony Network Communications Inc., enabling the collection of location data in addition to heart rate. This allows us to directly obtain workers' heart rate and location data without the need to install master and slave devices, regardless of the work location. With a simple configuration, we support safer and more efficient site management by understanding workers' real-time health and location information.

GRIFFY starts offering the power generator operation monitoring system "G-Save".
We are pleased to announce that we will begin offering the generator operation monitoring system "G-Save," which enables notifications for the power ON/OFF of generators operating at construction sites and remote monitoring of generator operating conditions, starting in March 2025. ■ Overview of the Generator Operation Monitoring System "G-Save" Generators are widely used at construction sites for necessary lighting, drainage pumps, and the operation of monitoring equipment such as network cameras. However, running them unnecessarily can lead to increased environmental impact due to fuel waste and concerns about noise affecting the surrounding areas of construction sites. "G-Save" connects to the generator's outlet and collects the generator's operating status via mobile communication to a cloud server, allowing for email notifications of the generator's power ON/OFF status. It also collects data on the operating hours throughout the day and the cumulative operating time after pressing the switch included with the "G-Save" unit, making it accessible for remote viewing at any time. The system can be installed in a space-saving manner by adhering it to the generator housing with a powerful magnet. It is expected to help reduce environmental impact caused by forgetting to turn off the power and to facilitate efficient fuel replenishment for the generator.

Prepare for the Nankai Trough mega earthquake: Providing emergency earthquake alert patrol lights.
We are pleased to announce that we will begin offering the emergency earthquake alert response patrol light "Patroid-Shin," which receives emergency earthquake alerts in outdoor environments and immediately notifies the surroundings with a rotating light and sound to raise awareness of strong tremors and ensure the safety of on-site workers, as a dedicated package product starting in January 2025. When the Japan Meteorological Agency issues an emergency earthquake alert predicting a maximum seismic intensity of 5 lower or higher, the emergency earthquake alert will be immediately received via mobile phone operators in areas where seismic intensity of 4 or higher is expected. The emergency earthquake alert patrol light "Patroid-Shin" installed in the area will activate, illuminating the rotating light and announcing the issuance of the emergency earthquake alert audibly. Thanks to its solar power, multiple units can be installed in various locations, allowing information to be received even when a smartphone is not carried. For example, at construction sites, it enables safety measures such as lowering crane loads to safe locations and evacuating workers from unstable scaffolding, thereby helping to reduce damage.

Reinforcement Inspection AR System "BAIAS" confirms compliance with the standard values of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in slab construction.
On January 16, 2025, we added a function to the rebar inspection AR system "BAIAS" that allows the input of design slopes, which are reflected during measurement, and began providing this feature. Additionally, with the implementation of this function, we would like to inform you that we have confirmed compliance with the allowable error of ±5mm (comparison value for individual rebar spacing) as stipulated in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's implementation guidelines through on-site verification. In July 2023, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism established the "Implementation Guidelines (Draft) for Rebar Shape Measurement Utilizing Digital Data," which requires an allowable error of ±5mm for slab work, necessitating high measurement performance. In slab work, it is often necessary to establish slopes in both vertical and horizontal directions, making it difficult to align the measurement surface with the rebar in such cases. Therefore, "BAIAS" has added a function to input the design values of the slope in advance and reflect them on the measurement surface. We also conducted on-site verification tests at Muramoto Construction Co., Ltd. and confirmed that the AR marker measurement mode of "BAIAS" meets the allowable error of ±5mm. Moving forward, "BAIAS" will continue to promote functional updates aimed at improving productivity on-site.
