Flexible climbing system scaffold "PERI SCS"
A stable and flexible scaffold bracket system for one-sided and two-sided climbing formwork operations.
The "PERI SCS Climbing System" Single-Sided is a climbing-type bracket system primarily used for one-sided construction, meaning it is used in situations where separators are not employed. Common applications include dams, sluice gates, cooling towers, bunkers, main towers, tunnels, and liquid-tight embankments. The brackets are also suitable for forming fixed wall formwork. Additionally, by adding minimal components, it can also accommodate two-sided construction. In the SCS Climbing System, two bracket units and one wall formwork section are integrated to form a crane-movable platform (climbing unit). The components that make up the climbing unit are designed according to a modular concept. By maximizing the use of common components, multiple climbing units can be constructed. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.*
basic information
Overview of the PERI SCS Climbing System: ■ It is a crane-movable climbing unit composed of a "bracket unit" and a "wall formwork system." ■ Optimized for a maximum concrete pouring height of (3.90 m) for single-side applications and (6.00 m) for double-side applications. ■ The concrete, working, and finishing platforms can be inclined up to a maximum of (± 30°). ■ Using an angle adapter allows the brackets to be positioned parallel even for circular structures. 【Product Advantages】 ■ Optimizes crane working time ■ Components that make up the system are optimized to the minimum necessary ■ Ensures a safe horizontal working area ■ High cost efficiency even for double-sided construction *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Project Name: Danjiang Bridge Project Construction Period: February 2019 - July 2025 Construction Location: Tamsui District, New Taipei City, Republic of China (Taiwan) Scale: River crossing section (920m), main tower (height: 11.4m below water surface, 200m above water surface)
-
The main tower this time will reach a height of 200 meters above the water surface. According to the plan, the main tower will be constructed in 53 lifts, but the shape of the main tower will change complexly with each lift. A system formwork that can flexibly respond to this complex change is desired.
-
To achieve this complex shape change and repurposing, the Perry System (SCS + VARIO) and our technical proposals are highly regarded. Additionally, for lifts of 30 to 49, the Perry Climbing System (ACS + VARIO) is used to quickly carry out work at heights.
-
(Customer Feedback) "I am satisfied with all of PERI's work, from detailed planning to on-site project support. It is wonderful to be able to rely on such a partner."

【Product News】PERI climbing systems 'SCS', 'RCS', 'ACS', and 'CB' are used at construction sites around the world.
The PERI climbing systems 'SCS', 'RCS', 'ACS', and 'CB' are utilized at various construction sites. The climbing systems, which are one of PERI's product groups, are used at construction sites around the world. These systems integrate working scaffolding and formwork systems to achieve 'improved formwork work efficiency', 'significant reduction in workforce', 'ensured accuracy in formwork construction', 'reduction of scaffolding materials', and 'safety in the work area'. There are two types of climbing methods: one that uses cranes and another that uses a movable hydraulic device instead of a crane, allowing for the selection of the optimal method based on the construction content. **For more details, please check the related products. We also hold 'product assembly experiences' and 'system formwork study sessions' at our stockyard, so please feel free to contact us.** PERI Japan Co., Ltd.

The article about the overseas site inspection of the "Tamsui River Bridge" will be published in the February 2025 issue of "Bridges and Foundations"! "Bridges and Foundations" is a specialized magazine on bridge technology published by Construction Library Co., Ltd. In late October 2024, a site inspection of the "Tamsui River Bridge" was conducted by the editorial committee of "Bridges and Foundations." The "Tamsui River Bridge" is being constructed at the estuary of the Tamsui River, which separates Tamsui District and Bali District in New Taipei City, Taiwan, facing the Taiwan Strait. Once completed, it will have the longest span in the world for a single-tower, asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge. The design plan was created by the late Zaha Hadid, a world-renowned architect, who designed the single-tower, asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge. PERI's climbing systems (SCS) and (ACS) are being used in the construction of the main tower of this "Tamsui River Bridge," which will also become a historical heritage for Taiwan. **The February 2025 issue of "Bridges and Foundations" will be released on February 6, 2025. We hope you will consider purchasing it.
