Submerged correction work - pressure-resistant slab method *

Restoring a tilted house using a pressure-resistant slab method that addresses shallow soft layers and settlement cessation.

This is a subsidence correction work for buildings that have experienced differential settlement, aimed at restoring tilted houses. In the pressure plate method, a pressure plate (steel plate) is installed on stable ground, and the tilt of the building is precisely corrected using adjustment jacks and other tools. After the correction through jack-up, strong measures such as fixing with adjustment wheels, backfilling, and mortar filling are carried out to properly support the building's load and restore a safe living environment.

basic information

As a preliminary survey, we will conduct level measurements of the building's outer perimeter and indoor floors, an underfloor investigation, and 4 to 5 points of Swedish sounding tests in one day, and submit deliverables such as a ground investigation report and survey drawings. The specifications include a load-bearing plate (steel plate) installed on stable ground, adjustment jacks, and fixed adjustment wheels, allowing for horizontal adjustments through jacking. During construction, we will use a 100V power supply and water, and after completion, we will ensure that the base is properly repaired with cement or similar materials.

Applications/Examples of results

This applies to corrections when differential settlement occurs in buildings. Differential settlement measurements and a six-month observation period are conducted, and construction methods are selected based on the ground and settlement conditions. Specifically, this corresponds to cases where the weak layer of the ground is shallow, or where the settlement of the building has already stabilized, and corrections will be made through jacking up. By employing an appropriate approach based on the situation, the integrity of the building is ensured permanently.
