Heatstroke prevention measures: Health management system 'GenVital LTE'
Early detection of heatstroke risk! We support workers' health management with a dedicated wristband!
【NETIS Registration Number】KT-240128-A "GenVital LTE" is a system that supports the health management of field workers by instantly notifying both the work manager and the worker themselves with an alert when indicators calculated by the health management judgment algorithm developed by Obayashi Corporation exceed set thresholds. These indicators are based on heart rate and location data collected through a wristband, as well as the heat index at the construction site. <Standard features specialized for the health management of field workers> ⚫︎ Four-level indicator display ⚫︎ Fall detection* ⚫︎ SOS signal from the wearer* ⚫︎ Location data acquisition ⚫︎ Automatic collection of heart rate and heat index ⚫︎ Daily/Monthly report output *Currently under development. With the revision of the Labor Safety and Health Regulations coming into effect on June 1, 2025, businesses will be required to implement measures against heatstroke. The use of wearable devices is also recommended to quickly identify workers at risk of heatstroke. "GenVital LTE" is a device that quickly detects the risk of heatstroke and is suitable for the safety management of field workers! Please feel free to consult with us.
basic information
Functions and Features <Main Functions> - It is possible to check the physical condition of each worker. - An icon representing the heatstroke risk index in four levels is displayed. The data collected on the dedicated cloud service "GRIFFY Wear." is updated every minute, allowing real-time monitoring of heart rate and heat index from the management screen. If the indicators exceed the threshold and it is determined that the risk of heatstroke for a worker has increased, an alert email including the name of the affected individual will be sent to the administrator. ■GenVital LTE Wristband Specifications Manufacturer: Sony Network Communications Inc. The health management solution "GenVital LTE" has added new features: "Message Sending Function" and "IoT Integration Function."
We are pleased to announce that starting from October 20, 2025, we will be adding new features, "Message Sending Function" and "IoT Integration Function," to our health management solution "GenVital LTE." "GenVital LTE" is a service that assesses the physical condition of on-site workers in four levels based on heart rate and location data collected from wristbands, as well as the heat index at the work site, and sends alert notifications to both the work manager and the workers themselves. With the addition of these new features, work managers will be able to send predefined or custom messages to the wristbands, allowing the wearers to receive notifications through sound and vibration, enabling quick and efficient work instructions and alerts. Additionally, by integrating with the cloud measurement service provided by GRIFFY, automatic notifications will be sent to the wearers when measurement values such as rainfall, wind speed, slope, noise/vibration, and dust concentration exceed warning levels. This will achieve complete automation of the work process, from data measurement to alerting on-site workers. This will further contribute to improving the safety of on-site workers and streamlining and reducing labor in site management.

New features "SOS Notification" and "Fall Notification" added to the health management solution "GenVital LTE".
We are pleased to announce that on September 30, 2025, we added new features "SOS Notification" and "Fall Notification" to our health management solution "GenVital LTE." "GenVital LTE" is a service that assesses the health condition of field workers in four stages based on heart rate and location data collected by a wristband, as well as the heat index at the worksite, and sends alert notifications to both the work manager and the worker themselves. With the addition of these new features, when a wristband wearer wants to report health issues, they can press a button on the wristband to send an alert notification to the work manager. Additionally, when the wristband detects that the wearer has fallen, it can automatically send an alert notification to the work manager. The work manager can quickly check the wearer's location information, as well as the status and time of any SOS signals or falls, through a dedicated cloud service.

Health management solution "GenVital LTE" to be launched in May 2025.
We are pleased to announce that starting May 1, 2025, we will begin offering the health management solution "GenVital LTE." GRIFFY has been providing the health management solution "GenVital" for field workers since 2024, which collects workers' heart rate data via a wristband and transmits it to the cloud through a master and slave device. This time, we will change the wristband to the LTE-compatible "mSafety" device provided by Sony Network Communications Inc., enabling the collection of location data in addition to heart rate. This allows us to directly obtain workers' heart rate and location data without the need to install master and slave devices, regardless of the work location. With a simple configuration, we support safer and more efficient site management by understanding workers' real-time health and location information.
