Reinforcement Inspection AR System 'BAIAS' [NETIS Registered]
Reduce working hours by approximately 50-70%! Significant improvements in productivity and work efficiency with AR rebar inspection that can be conducted by one person.
【NETIS Registration Number】CB-230022-VE 'BAIAS' is an AR system for rebar inspection of reinforced concrete structures that allows a single person to easily conduct inspections using a tablet. By automatically measuring the number, diameter (thickness), and spacing of rebar from images taken with a tablet, it significantly reduces the time and effort required for inspections. This system enables what was traditionally a multi-person task of inspecting rebar in reinforced concrete structures to be performed easily by one person, contributing to labor-saving and efficiency on site. 【Features】 ■ Measurement of rebar spacing is possible even with double rebar ■ Supports measurement of cover thickness ■ Contributes to labor-saving in the inspection process with the electronic blackboard function ■ Reduces preparation and work effort with the two-point measurement function *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. *This product is for the domestic market.
basic information
【Reinforcement Inspection Procedure】 1. Measure the three-dimensional data of rebar from the point cloud. 2. Overlay lines and rebar spacing on the captured images. 3. Automatic measurement of rebar diameter is possible. 4. The length of "overlap joints" and "anchorage" can also be confirmed through two-point measurements. 5. Sync with the cloud to output reports in PDF format. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Revolutionary Renewal of the Rebar Inspection AR System "BAIAS"
We are pleased to announce a major renewal of the rebar inspection AR system "BAIAS" on July 1, 2025. By refreshing the UI design and implementing updates that significantly enhance user experience while maintaining robust measurement functions, we aim to evolve into a more intuitive and user-friendly system, thereby improving user convenience and work efficiency. <Renewal Details> - New UI Design Significantly Enhancing Usability We have completely revamped the application's logo and the entire user interface (UI). With highly visible icons and an intuitive layout, we have created a design that allows even first-time users to operate smoothly without confusion. This supports rapid inspections on-site. - Efficient Data Management Functionality We have newly implemented the ability to create and edit storage locations for measurement data in the cloud. This allows the on-site iPad Pro to focus solely on measurement functions, enabling workers to concentrate on inspections. By providing a system where administrators can centrally manage data storage locations, we strengthen collaboration between the field and back office, significantly reducing the effort required for data management. *For details and the full text, please check the link.

Reinforcement Inspection AR System "BAIAS" confirms compliance with the standard values of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in slab construction.
On January 16, 2025, we added a function to the rebar inspection AR system "BAIAS" that allows the input of design slopes, which are reflected during measurement, and began providing this feature. Additionally, with the implementation of this function, we would like to inform you that we have confirmed compliance with the allowable error of ±5mm (comparison value for individual rebar spacing) as stipulated in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's implementation guidelines through on-site verification. In July 2023, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism established the "Implementation Guidelines (Draft) for Rebar Shape Measurement Utilizing Digital Data," which requires an allowable error of ±5mm for slab work, necessitating high measurement performance. In slab work, it is often necessary to establish slopes in both vertical and horizontal directions, making it difficult to align the measurement surface with the rebar in such cases. Therefore, "BAIAS" has added a function to input the design values of the slope in advance and reflect them on the measurement surface. We also conducted on-site verification tests at Muramoto Construction Co., Ltd. and confirmed that the AR marker measurement mode of "BAIAS" meets the allowable error of ±5mm. Moving forward, "BAIAS" will continue to promote functional updates aimed at improving productivity on-site.
