Virtual Sign Display System "VirtuSign"
For tunnel construction and night work! Displaying highly visible virtual signs to contribute to safety management.
The Virtual Sign is a system that projects pre-set signs from a high-brightness light source mounted on the main device, by setting the signs in advance on the cloud at the site office or similar locations. By brightly and clearly projecting signs at tunnel construction sites or nighttime construction sites, it effectively informs site workers of restrictions and raises awareness. Various sign contents for use at construction sites are prepared, and the display content can be changed remotely via the cloud, reducing the hassle of installing or replacing signs and leading to labor savings. The main device is equipped with a communication terminal, and the connection to the cloud can be selected from LTE, wired LAN, or Wi-Fi. It is also possible to project sensor information and surveillance camera footage installed at the communication site via the cloud. Additionally, it has dustproof performance that allows it to be used without impact in tunnel construction, as well as waterproof performance for use in rainy weather. By projecting images from a high-brightness light source, it is possible to create large and clear sign displays, similar to projection mapping, by installing the device in locations that do not obstruct vehicle traffic.

Applications/Examples of results
It is intended for use in tunnels and nighttime construction sites. ■ Utilization results in tunnel construction (demonstration experiment) Virtual Sign conducted a demonstration experiment in a tunnel under construction and confirmed the following effects: - The housing has dust-proof performance that allows it to be used without impact in tunnel construction. - The equipment can be installed in a location about 8 meters away from the tunnel projection area, without obstructing vehicle passage, allowing for large and clear sign displays similar to projection mapping. - By projecting from an oblique direction, the signs can be recognized by vehicles approaching from the longitudinal direction. *Demonstration experiment period: March 2024 to March 2025.

We have started providing the virtual signage display system "VirtuSign."
The virtual sign display system "VirtuaSign" has been made available starting April 16, 2025. It displays highly visible virtual signs at tunnel construction sites and nighttime construction sites, contributing to safety management. ◾️ Product Overview VirtuaSign is a system that projects pre-set signs from a high-brightness light source mounted on the main device, which are configured in advance on the cloud at the site office. By projecting bright and clear signs at tunnel construction sites and nighttime construction sites, it effectively informs site workers of restrictions and raises awareness. The main device is equipped with a communication terminal, allowing connections to the cloud via LTE, wired LAN, or Wi-Fi. It is also possible to project sensor information and surveillance camera footage installed at the construction site through the cloud. In this development, we collaborated with Casio Computer Co., Ltd. to conduct demonstration experiments at construction sites. Casio not only provided the dedicated embedded projection module "LH-200" but also offered technical support and cooperation to ensure durability, jointly developing and designing the protective housing to achieve a product with environmental performance suitable for construction sites.
