Types of Applicable Ground Ground at the tip of the foundation pile: Sandy ground (including gravelly ground) and clayey ground Ground surrounding the foundation pile: Sandy ground and clayey ground Maximum Construction Depth The length of the pile should be no more than 130 times the diameter of the foundation pile body. However, for steel pipes with an outer diameter of 89.1mm to 190.7mm, the maximum construction depth shall be the smaller of 19.2m from the reinforcement construction ground level or 130 times the outer diameter of the steel pipe.
