Settlement correction work | Pinpoint identification of buried debris settlement due to survey omissions! Pressure-resistant slab work

Solve the subsidence of buried waste lurking in the gaps of survey points at low cost! Significantly reduce costs and construction time with pinpoint underground exploration and pressure plate jacking.

Unforeseen underground debris and buried waste that cannot be anticipated during ground surveys can cause irregular localized subsidence, where only part of the building sinks. Implementing comprehensive piling or large-scale ground improvement can incur significant construction costs, so a rational correction method that precisely identifies and addresses the buried areas causing the subsidence is extremely effective. GeoTech locally identifies the subsidence areas caused by buried waste through hand auger drilling and pinpoint underground exploration, thoroughly cutting unnecessary preliminary survey costs and overall construction expenses. For horizontal adjustment, we apply a jack-up method using compact thick steel plates. Even in narrow sites where the transport of temporary machinery is difficult, we achieve precise lifting in millimeter increments using small hydraulic jacks, leveraging the building's weight as a reaction force, dramatically reducing construction time and costs. After lifting, we flow air-entrained mortar (air milk) into the voids under the floor, and for cracks in the foundation, we also use high-viscosity epoxy resin injection. GeoTech's subsidence correction construction menu provides reliable restoration at a low cost.

basic information

This is an investigation into the causes of localized settlement in existing single-family homes (wooden, lightweight steel structure, cloth foundation, and flat foundation) and the horizontal restoration work. Localized test excavations will be conducted using ground exploration tools (hand auger and probing rod), and inclination angle measurements will be taken using a high-precision laser level. In the pressure plate jack-up method, carbon steel plates or concrete pressure plates with dimensions of 500 mm or more and a thickness of 12 mm or more will be placed, and lifting and horizontal fine adjustments will be performed using linked hydraulic jacks. Standard specifications will include high-density filling of air milk (bubble mortar) into the lower gaps and pressurized injection of high-adhesion epoxy resin into cracks in the concrete foundation.

Applications/Examples of results

It is used for the restoration of localized differential settlement in existing houses caused by underground obstacles or debris burial, as well as for correcting the tilt of floors and columns. It is optimal when you want to minimize excessive demolition and reinforcement costs associated with overall construction, while identifying localized causes and performing horizontal lifting on a minimal scale. It is suitable for densely populated areas or narrow sites where large construction machinery cannot enter, and for cases where you want to complete restoration work while living in the property without causing relocation or temporary housing. It is widely used as a low-cost proposal for foundation stabilization before renovation or repair work, as well as in geotechnical settlement correction work menus.
