Ground reinforcement work | Achieving immediate foundation construction and shortening of construction period with zero curing time for rotary penetration.

Elimination of the curing period with a small-diameter steel pipe pile method that does not use cement. This enables the start of foundation work immediately after pouring, achieving a significant reduction in overall construction time and cost savings.

This proposal is a small-diameter steel pipe pile ground reinforcement solution aimed at construction projects that prioritize thorough efficiency and shortening of construction periods. Ground reinforcement to prevent settlement accidents in soft ground is essential, but traditional cement improvement methods have made the curing period a bottleneck in the process until strength is achieved. The small-diameter steel pipe pile method involves the complete dry construction of high-strength steel pipes being rotated and driven into the ground, eliminating the need to wait for cement curing, allowing for immediate commencement of foundation work right after pile installation is completed. There are no concerns about mud accumulation or site contamination due to rain, dramatically reducing the risk of delays in the process. The application range is extensive, covering single-family homes and stores up to three stories above ground, as well as retaining walls, with clear bearing capacity calculations possible from data such as SWS tests. GeoTech provides smooth construction without rework by combining rapid equipment arrangements with real-time quality verification through digital management devices, strongly supporting our clients' tight project schedules.

basic information

This construction method is a rotary penetration pile method that responds to immediate loads, consisting of general structural carbon steel pipes with an outer diameter of φ89.1mm to φ216.3mm and high-penetration tip wings. The applicable conditions are small-scale buildings with up to three stories, a height of 13m or less, and a total floor area of 1,500 square meters or less, as well as retaining walls with a height of 3.5m or less. The maximum construction depth is 130 times the pile diameter (up to 19.2m, etc.), suitable for sandy soil, clay, and loam layers. It has obtained public performance certification and achieves a high level of both short construction periods and safety through a clear calculation formula based on SWS test results.

Applications/Examples of results

It is ideal for commercial stores with set opening dates, housing projects that require short-term completion, temporary structures, and foundation reinforcement for urgent restoration work. It also demonstrates strengths in sites where concerns about cement quality deterioration and curing delays arise during the rainy season or winter construction. It is widely utilized in narrow sites where there is a desire to transition to the next foundation work immediately after pouring, and in densely populated residential areas where there is a need to minimize construction days out of consideration for neighbors, with the aim of reducing total construction time and temporary costs.
